We were brought into the project at the very beginning of the home’s design phase; in fact, we had the opportunity to design the entire space even before the construction of the home began.
The space allotted by the home’s architect was 1700 sq feet. We designed and selected all materials for this space. The space features a 16’ x 32’ gunite pool with an 8’ x 8’ fully jetted spa. The pool features 2 large LED lights and an automatic safety cover system.
The French marble tile surrounds on the walls and floor help to soften the space. Although the project is 3 stories below grade, we were able to bring in natural sunlight by using reflectors and mirrors.
The intricate glass ceiling incorporates over a few thousand LED lights. This area also features an 8-person sauna, a steam room, and a fully stocked wet bar area with a 60” TV and lounge area. The full-width glass mosaic tile scene was inspired by a photo taken by the clients while on vacation as the house was being built.
The pool and spa were the first structures built on site, and the 10,000-plus-sq ft house was built above and beside our pool. This project’s amazing outcome is truly the result of our design team’s expertise as well as our great understanding and relationship between us and our clients!
